Key Features of CUET (UG) – 2026
Application Details and Important Dates
Application Form Submission: 01 March to 22 March 2026 (11:50 PM)
Admit Card & City Allotment: To be announced on https://cuet.nta.nic.in
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: No age limit for appearing
Educational Requirement: Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent in 2026 are eligible.
The specific eligibility criteria of the universities where admission is sought must be met.
Reservation and PwD Provisions
Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS are as per Government norms.
PwD/PwBD candidates are provided facilities like:
Scribe/Reader/Lab Assistant
Compensatory time (minimum 20 minutes per hour)
PwD candidates must submit appropriate certificates and documentation as per format.
Choice of Cities
Candidates may choose four preferred cities while applying.
Efforts will be made to assign centres as per preference, but NTA reserves the right to allot different centres if necessary.
Admit Card and Exam Day Guidelines
Admit Cards must be downloaded from the official website.
Required items to carry:
Printed Admit Card with Self Declaration
Valid Photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Passport)
Photograph (same as uploaded)
PwD certificate if applicable
No duplicate admit cards will be issued at the centre.
Answer Key and Result
Provisional Answer Key will be published for candidate challenge at ₹200 per question.
Final Result will be based on reviewed answer key.
NTA Score is computed and normalised across shifts if needed.
Result is valid only for 2026–27 admissions.
Admission Process
NTA provides the CUET (UG) Scorecard.
Each university conducts its own counselling and admission based on CUET score and internal criteria.
Appearing in CUET does not guarantee admission unless all university conditions are met.
How to Apply – Step-by-Step
Registration: Fill basic details, generate Application No., create password.
Application Form: Enter academic info, select subjects, test centres, upload documents.
Document Upload:
Photo (10 kb–200 kb)
Signature (10 kb–50 kb)
PwD Certificate (50 kb–300 kb)
Fee Payment: Online via UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking.
